IMM/Book Haul: My first Digital Review Book and a few other things...

This week I bought myself a Kindle Keyboard Wifi. So I am now actually able to review digital copies. I also downloaded a heap of free ebooks, purchased one and received a digital review copy. I also received two paperbacks from Simon and Schuster in the mail.

From Simon and Schuster:
Second Chance Summer
'Second Chance Summer' by Morgan Matson
-Yes, the long awaited book has arrived. I absolutely adored 'Amy and Roger's Epic Detour' and just can't wait to read this one!

When You Were Mine
'When You Were Mine' by Rebecca Serle
-I actually received this last week and thought it was an adult novel. I gave it to mum to read. She tells me that she enjoyed it and that it was actually a teen book. I'm actually keen to read this now! especially since it's about Romeo and Juliet!

My Digital Review Copy:
'The Brotherhood of Piaxa' by Michael Drakich
-From Smashwords.com I wasn't too sure about it, but I thought I'd give it the benefit of the doubt seeing as it is my first digital review request (since owning a kindle).

My Kindle Purchases:
Two Lines
'Two Lines' by Melissa Marr
-A novella that cost me about $3. I really adore this author.

My Free Downloads:
(Mostly from Kindle and Goodreads)

Classics:
-'The Legend of Sleepy Hollow' by Washington Irving
-'The Raven' by Edgar Allan Poe
-'Treasure Island' by Robert Louis Stevenson
-'Dracula' by Bram Stoker
-'Frankenstein' by Mary Wollstonecraft Shelley
-'Alice's Adventures in Wonderland' by Louis Carroll

YA:
-'Midnight Sun' by Stephenie Meyer
-'Harry Potter Prequel' by J.K Rowling
-'Zombicorns' by John Green

I also got myself a Netgalley account, but seem to be getting a lot of declines from publishers. I don't know if this has anything to do with my location or not?

I'm supposed to be going out ow town in a week or so, so it will be interesting to try out the read aloud feature on my kindle in the car.

What did you get in your mail box?

Ooh I hope "the raven' is alright. We had to read one of Edgar Allen poe's works for creative writing class. It's intense to get through.
